Police say Chipotle Incident was False Alarm

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - After investigating reports that a man armed with a handgun entered the Chipotle on Apalachee parkway, police are saying it was a false alarm.

Police say they received a call around 7:30 a.m. that security cameras showed an armed person entering the restaurant but not leaving.

Officers set up a perimeter and blocked off entrances and exits to the shopping center while they investigated.

They say the person seen on camera turned out to be a Brinks worker entering the store.

At approximately 9 a.m., police gave the all-clear and ended to shopping center lockdown saying it was a false alarm.
