TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A robbery suspect was caught with over $30,000 worth of jewelry on his person after police say they responded to a pawn shop robbery in Tallahassee.
Corneilus Cox was arrested on Sunday and charged with armed burglary and grand theft over $20,000.
Police say when they responded to a burglary alarm at Mike's Pawn Shop on Tennessee Street, the front glass door was shattered and Cox was still inside.
Cox attempted to run from the building but was caught and taken into custody, according to documents.
Police say Cox had 10 handguns and magazines in a bag when he was arrested, in addition to 66 rings in his pockets.
Officers say the price tags were still on the rings and were valued to cost approximately $36,473.
Cox was booked in the Leon County Jail.
