REMERTON, Ga. (WTXL) - Police have reported a shooting near Jackson Square Apartments in Remerton.
The Remerton Police Department said that the shooting happened Wednesday around 12:30 p.m. They said that one person was shot in the leg, though their injuries are not life-threatening.
Police said that they do have a description of the suspect, but they are not releasing it at this time. They also said that they do not have any suspects in custody.
Investigators have added that they don't believe that the shooting was random, or that there is a danger to the public.
They are continuing to investigate the shooting.
