(WTXL)-- Local communities in Florida are coming together to take part in the National Night Out celebration.
It's happening Tuesday, August 5 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
Midway's event will be held at the Eugene Lamb Park in Midway. It's the fourth year the Midway Police Department has participated.
The Tallahassee Police Department is hosting their event at the same time at Cascades Park.
National Night Out is designed to raise crime prevention awareness and to help strengthen the partnership between police and the community.
