ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the death of Rollins College lacrosse player, who died at an area hospital after being discovered in an off-campus residence by his roommate.
Winter Park Police say officials responded to an emergency call Monday afternoon and found 22-year-old Will Hauver experiencing an unknown medical condition. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.
Sgt. Frank Cowart said Tuesday that foul play was not suspected and that an investigation is ongoing.
Rollins College lacrosse team is scheduled to begin its season Thursday. Hauver, from Towson, Maryland, was a senior captain on the team.
A vigil was scheduled for Tuesday night on campus.
