TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man is behind bars after police say he threatened to stab a woman with a screw driver.
According to court documents, on Tuesday officers responded to Jackson Bluff Road. A woman called and told police that a man had broken a window in her apartment and threatened her daughter with a screw driver.
When officers arrived on scene, they saw 52-year-old Eric Moore standing outside the broken window and yelling at the victims. Documents say police immediately placed Moore in handcuffs.
Officers then proceeded to speak with the victims. One of the victims told officers that while Moore was breaking the window she went outside and told him to stop. The victim said Moore then took a screw driver from his jacket and threatened to stab her. After being threatened, the victim ran back inside.
Police say after speaking with the victims, they found out Moore also lived at the apartment and could not be charged for burglary.
According to the documents, Moore was arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility. He is being charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
