COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) - Police in Columbus say a man is in critical condition after being shot three times during a home invasion at an apartment complex.
The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports (http://bit.ly/1seeWgI ) police were called to the Cooper Cove Apartments at about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday. Police Lt. Consuelo Askew says officers found the victim with gunshot wounds to his head and arm.
Askew said multiple people were at the apartment during the reported home invasion, but police aren't certain if anything was stolen. No arrests had been reported by Wednesday afternoon.
Askew says the wounded man was listed in critical condition at Midtown Medical Center.
