TALLAHASSEE, Fla., (WTXL) -- A man was found shot to death early Friday morning, said police.
Officers responded to the area of Old Bainbridge Road and Fourth Avenue around 4:30a.m. after a neighbor called and said they heard gunshots.
When TPD got to there, they canvased the area. That's when an officer found the man dead from a gunshot wound. TPD and emergency crews tried to revive the man, but he had already passed.
At this time, police are not releasing the name of the victim, pending notification to next of kin.
A homicide team, as well as forensic investigators are on the scene, speaking with witnesses, and searching the area.
This is an on-going investigation, and the story will be updated as more information is released.
Police say because of the time of the incident, there are not many witnesses and are asking for the community's help in solving this case.
