TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee man is behind bars after police say he pulled a gun on a woman during an argument over a parking spot at a local Walmart.

Omega Jefferson was arrested on Sunday for carrying a concealed weapon without a license, possession of a weapon by a convicted Florida felon, and violation of probation.

Court documents say police were called to the Walmart at 3535 Apalachee Parkway about a man with a gun.

The caller said that she was with her daughter when she saw a man had "pulled out a gun, fighting over who was going to park in the spot."

When police arrived and found Jefferson, they asked him if he had been in a confrontation with a woman over a parking space, which he said he had.

An extensive on-scene investigation was conducted and officers located a loaded .40 caliber handgun on Jefferson, who is a Florida convicted felon.

The gun was impounded and Jefferson was transported to the Leon County Detention Facility. He remains in jail on a $12,500 bond.
