MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities have identified the man who was fatally shot after a fight broke out in Miami Beach.
Miami Beach police spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez tells news outlets that 20-year-old Antoinne Decade was killed after being shot in front of a hotel on Ocean Drive early Sunday.
Rodriguez says large crowds of spring break revelers were nearby when the shooting occurred.
Another shooting happened less than 20 minutes later a few blocks away, but it doesn't appear anyone was hit.
Police on Sunday afternoon said they had located an unidentified person of interest.
The shooting occurred on a stretch of Ocean Drive that had been shut down on Friday because of unruly crowds of spring break partiers.
