TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Police used a K-9 unit to find at least one of the suspects accused of robbing and injuring an employee of the K&S Food Mart in Tallahassee.
The incident happened on February 21, according to police. Two suspects entered the K&S Foodmart on Springhill Road and robbed the three employees inside at gunpoint. One victim was pistol whipped in the head by one of the suspects. A suspect also shot at one of the employees.
Police responded, set up a perimeter and began looking for suspects. One of the suspects, 18-year-old Kahamal Kirby, was tracked and arrested. He was found behind a trash can on North Ridge Road.
Irby is charged with robbery with a firearm, aggravated battery, and possession of weapon by a delinquent.
