TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - At this time there is no evidence of a shooting near the campus of FAMU, said Tallahassee Police.
FAMU sent out an alert saying that police were responding to a report of a shooting at Melvin Street and Harrison.
Tallahassee Police arrived on scene but say there is no evidence of a shooting. According to investigators, there was a traffic accident and the person who caused the accident said, "I am driving because someone is shooting at me." That driver then ran away from the scene leaving his car behind, said police.
