BLOUNTSTOWN, FL (WTXL) - Blountstown and Altha Police Departments teamed up to arrest 11 in connection with selling meth, crack, and other illegal drugs.
The departments, who teamed up to make the Blountstown Altha Drug Task Force (BADTF), said they received information from concerned citizens about several suspects selling drugs in the community. Using their combined resources, the departments were able to arrest several individuals.
Police said they also took a vehicle, a gun, drugs, and other items. The task force has more warrants pending arrest.

James Edward Summerlin, age 31, of Blountstown: Sale of a Controlled Substance (Morphine) within 1000ft of a Public Park, Sale of a Controlled Substance (ICE) within 1000ft of a Public Park
Alan Kenneth Pyles, age 38, of Blountstown: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) within 1000ft of a Place of Worship
Marquice Rashad Smith, age 22, of Blountstown: Sale of an Imitation Controlled Substance
Lawrence Lorenzo Dawson, age 55, of Bristol: Sale of a Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine) within 1000ft of a Place of Worship, Sale of a Controlled Substance (Crack Cocaine) within 1000ft of a School
