WICHITA, Ka. (WTXL) - A reported bomb threat at a Kansas Home Depot turned out to be a man warning of a coming bowel movement.
According to the Wichita Eagle, when police arrived arrived on scene, an employee said they overheard the threat in the store's bathroom.
The Wichita Eagle reports that a store clerk recognized the man who gave the warning as a “regular customer,” and gave the customer’s name to police.
Another man who was in the bathroom at the time told police that he heard the "regular customer" say something along the lines of, “You all need to get out of here because I’m fixin to blow it up.”
The “regular customer” told police he was trying to be funny when he gave the warning to another man, the store employee, in the bathroom.
The Wichita Eagle says that Home Depot has notified police they do not want to press charges.
