LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say two suspects from Miami have been arrested in connection with a triple slaying in Polk County last week.
Multiple media outlets report 35-year-old Andrew Joseph was arrested Monday and 26-year-old Jonathan Alcegaire was taken into custody Tuesday.
Police say both men face three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted-murder in the Jan. 6 shooting.
Authorities found 24-year-old David Washington, 31-year-old Eneida Branch and 23-year-old Angelica Guadalupe Castro shot to death at a Lakeland home.
Eighteen-year-old Felix Campos was shot in the face and taken to the hospital.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Thursday that the victims were in the drug trade. Authorities are searching for other suspects.
Joseph and Alcegaire are also both facing several other charges. If isn't clear if they have attorneys.
