VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Police said they have made an arrest in connection with a Lowndes County stabbing.
The Valdosta Police Department said that on Monday, just after 9 p.m, they were called to an empty restaurant in the 1800 block of West Hill Avenue about a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found a victim suffering a stab wound to his stomach. The victim was immediately taken to South Georgia Medical Center to treat his wounds.
Police said that during the investigation, the victim told them he was involved in a fight with a person he knew. During the fight, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim.
Further investigation revealed to police that Clint McGlashan was the suspect involved in the stabbing.
On Tuesday, police found and interviewed McGlashan. After the interview, they said they arrested him and transported him to the Lowndes County Jail. McGlashan was charged with aggravated assault.
Police reported that both the victim and McGlashan were homeless.
