Polaris issued a recall Wednesday of 19,200 Sportsman 850 and 1000 all-terrain vehicles because of a potential burn or fire hazard.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission posted the recall on their website.
This is for all 2015 and 2016 models sold under a variety of model numbers which you can find by clicking here.
Polaris received nearly 800 incidents where side panels either warped, melted, or burned. There are 47 reports of people being injured as a result.
If you have one of these ATVs, stop using it immediately and take it to your dealer for free repairs.
These models were not made at the company's North Alabama facility.
