TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - People against President Donald Trump's pick to fill the soon-to-be vacant Supreme Court seat will take a stand Thursday at the Florida Supreme Court.

WTXL ABC's Jada Williams was live Thursday morning with a look at why members of Planned Parenthood across the state are being vocal about their disappointment.

People are opposing Trump's pick because of his stance on abortion and reproductive rights.

Men and women from across Florida will rally Thursday and are asking Senators Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio to work alongside them to protect health care access and reproductive by rejecting the president's nomination.

Planned Parenthood supporters say politicians and judges should not be making decisions about women's bodies.

Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh to fill the seat to be vacated by Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Rubio pledged his support for the president's pick while Nelson says he looks forward to meeting with Kavanaugh to discuss important issues such as reproductive health.

The rally is scheduled to happen at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Florida Supreme Court.
