TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Meet our Pet of the Week, Magnolia.

She's  an eight-year old Labrador Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier.

Magnolia came into the shelter as a stray in January. Since then, she's become a volunteer favorite.

Staff say she's laid back and a bit shy. She gets along well with kids and other laid back dogs.

Magnolia has already been spayed and is housebroken. She is heartworm positive, but Tallahassee Animals Services offers a variety of treatment options.

Her adoption fee is $25.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, the shelter is inviting you to come adopt your sweetheart!

It's thanks to a special free adoption event, "Love is a Four Legged Word."

Adoption fees will be waived on all animals on Saturday, February 13 from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and again on Sunday, February 14 from 1 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
