JENNINGS, Fla. (WTXL)--Deputies in Hamilton County are looking for a person of interest in a double homicide.
Deputies want to talk to 63-year-old Jose D. Fontanillas.
They say he was living at a home on Mary Street in Jennings with 80-year-old Elouise Welcome and 58-year-old Diane Williams.
Williams' daughter who lives in Valdosta had been trying to reach her mom for several days and then decided to drive over to Jennings to check on her.
When she got there Sunday night, no one answered and she couldn't get inside.
A Jennings police officer arrived at 8:30 and was able to get in through a window, finding a body.
Then Hamilton County deputies got to the scene and found a second body.
Deputies haven't positively identified the two bodies found at the home Sunday night. Reid says a dog was also found dead.
A medical examiner is working to determine the exact cause of death.
Family members say Williams had recently married Fontanillas.
Williams' van is also missing from the home. It's a 1999 white Windstar with Florida license plate number BKGM78.
Sheriff Harrell Reid says they have gained information that Fontanillas may have relatives in the Miami-Dade County area.
If you have information, you're asked to call the sheriff's office at 386-792-8477 or 386-792-TIPS.
