GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol says a person died Monday as a result of a vehicle crash in Gadsden County on I-10 near mile marker 168.
Trooper say Lindaura Alvarez, 48, was killed after stopping to check on her daughter, who was driving in another car in front of her and hydroplaned off the roadway.
A semi truck was unable to avoid Alvarez's car and collided with her car then traveled off the roadway and into the center median. The trailer of the semi overturned onto Alvarez's car.
Both cars came to their final rest in the median facing west.
