REX, GA. (AP) - Authorities say, one person died when a vehicle hit a Clayton County fire vehicle that was working an earlier crash.
Local media report the fatal crash happened just after midnight Monday on Interstate 675.
Clayton County Police Department Lt. Barry Davis told WSB-TV that a southbound lane of the interstate was blocked off because of the initial wreck, and a vehicle ran into the back of a fire department vehicle.
One person in the vehicle that hit the fire department vehicle was killed and another was injured and taken to a hospital. Two people were injured in the initial wreck.
No other information was immediately available.
