PERRY, Fla. (WTXL) - On Thursday, August 17 at approximately 12:43 p.m., Perry Police Department responded to an armed robbery at Fast Payday Loans at 2236 S. Byron Butler Parkway.
The suspect entered the business flashing a rifle and robbed an employee of an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then fled the area on foot, later got into a car and left the scene.
There were no injuries as a result of the robbery.
The Taylor County Sheriff's Office and Florida Department of Corrections assisted in the investigation.
