MADISON CO., Fla. (WTXL) - Two people are taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a single vehicle crash in Madison County.
The Florida Highway Patrols (FHP) says just after 5:00 p.m.Thursday evening, a Chevy Malibu driven by 54-year-old Clifford Ford was traveling west on U.S. 90 near NE Macedonia Church Road, when a dog ran out into the road.
FHP says Ford steered to the left to avoid hitting the dog, and his car over-steered towards the shoulder of the roadway.
Troopers say the car went airborne and collided with an embankment.
Ford and his passenger, 28-year old Kendrick Craddock, both of Madison County, were both taken to Madison County Memorial.
