TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Troopers have identified the man that was killed yesterday in a three-car crash on North Monroe Street.
Florida Highway Patrol says Julius J. Cox was traveling south on North Monroe Street near Old Bainbridge Road when he crossed the center median and entered the lane of on-coming traffic.
Cox then hit Sara Perez-Vasquez who was traveling with three young passengers.
His car was then propelled into another car driven by Lawrence Roberts.
Cox was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and died from his injuries.
Perez-Vasquez, Roberts, and Cox's passenger, Mary Carver, were also taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for injuries.
Four others were also hurt in that crash.
Troopers said that charges are pending investigation.
