THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL)--Four people are charged with theft by taking after police caught them taking clothes out drop off bins at the Salvation Army.
The call came in as four people acting suspicious. When police arrived at the building on North Madison Street Saturday night, they say they found Ricky Sanders, Quanisha Frager, Marcus Mikes, and Whitney Branham digging through the bins.
According to Thomasville Police, Sanders said he was trying to find clothes for his baby.
Branham and Frager said they thought they were allowed to go through the bins.
Mickens said he was homeless and needed clothes.
Police say they told Salvation Army Major Christina Taylor about the situation, and she wanted to prosecute them.
They were taken to the Thomas County Jail.
