VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--A pedestrian dies after being hit by a pick-up truck in Valdosta.
On Wednesday after 5:00 a.m., police say 55-year-old Lance Bernard Russell was walking westbound on Gil Harbin Industrial Blvd., when he was struck by a Ford Ranger, which was also westbound.
Police say the investigation is still open at this time, but it appears Russell may have been walking too close to the edge of the road.
There were no indications that the Ford Ranger ever left the road. Russell's family has been notified. No charges have been filed at this time.
