Pedestrian dies after two-vehicle crash in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A pedestrian has succumbed to his injuries after a two vehicle crash at the intersection of North Macomb and West Tennessee St. Wednesday night.  

On Wednesday around 9:19 p.m., the Tallahassee Police Department was called to a two vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.  

TPD says the pedestrian identified as Willie Neal Fain, died from his injuries. 

TPD says this is still an active investigation, and the TPD Traffic Homicide Investigators are continuing to interview known witnesses and process evidence collected from the scene. 

TPD is urging anyone who may have information about the crash to please contact them at 850-891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at 850-574-TIPS. 


TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - One person is in the hospital with critical injuries after a traffic crash in Tallahassee Wednesday. 

The Tallahassee Police Department released this statement:

"The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a traffic crash which occurred near the intersection of North Macomb Street and West Tennessee Street involving a pedestrian. TPD and Emergency responders immediately provided medical attention to those involved.  Two were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The pedestrian was also taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.

 

Traffic Homicide Investigators were called to the scene and have assumed the investigation. TPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS."
