Passenger arrested for meth after Jackson County traffic stop

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A traffic stop resulted in a passenger being arrested for methamphetamine after a Jackson County Sheriff's deputy performed a field test.

The passenger, Marcus Cox, 30, of Grand Ridge, FL, was arrested Friday and taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.

After the driver consented to a search of the vehicle, the deputy found a red container that contained methamphetamine and a pen casing and pen cap that contained methamphetamine residue. 

The traffic stop was at the intersection of Highway 69 and Highway 90
