VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Parts of the first and second floors of the South Georgia Medical Center remain closed Sunday after a fire was reported at the hospital just after 2 a.m. Friday.
Air quality experts are expected to arrive Tuesday to determine whether or not it's safe for radiology, pediatrics and postpartum units to return to their normal locations.
Signs and additional staff are posted to help direct patients, visitors and staff to the temporary department locations.
