FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Franklin County Sheriff's Office has arrested a couple after their child was found wandering alone in the middle of the street.
They say Henry and Brandy Shiver were both charged for child neglect.
Deputies say on Oct. 12 their young toddler was found wandering on Wilderness Road by a neighbor. That neighbor then called FCSO after making sure the child was safe.
The child was uninjured.
Later, deputies issued a warrant for the parents' arrest.
When deputies made contact with them, the Shivers said another person in the home must have unlocked the door, allowing the child to get out.
They were both arrested at their home on Tuesday.
