SUWANEE Co. Fla.-- Suwanee County Fire Rescue reported to an overturned vehicle on I-10 at the county line, Thursday afternoon.
Fire crews arrived on scene to find a pickup truck on its side on top of the bridge blocking both lanes of travel.
Responding units from Madison County were on scene and extracted a victim from their vehicle. The patient once extricated was air lifted to an area trauma center for treatment of serious injuries.
Traffic was at a standstill for an extended period of time and caused major traffic delays on the westbound lanes of I-10.
Lanes of I-10 are being cleared by crews and traffic should begin to slowly move.
