LOWNDES, COUNTY, GA -- Georgia State Patrol troopers say they found more than $36,000 hidden in a car Sunday in Lowndes County after the driver refused to move over.
Officials tell us troopers made the stop on I-75 just after 5 Sunday evening.
The trooper’s K-9 was alerted to something inside the car during a search, that’s when officers say they found 33 bundles of cash hidden in a speaker in the trunk.
The money was confiscated, but no arrested were made.
