MOULTRIE, GA (WTXL) - Over $85,000 in lawnmowers were stolen at a Moultrie business over the weekend, and investigators are still looking for the thieves.

According to the Colquitt County Sheriff's Office, the theft happened at DeMott Tractor Co. on Sylvester Highway between Saturday night and Sunday morning, when the business was closed.

Nine lawnmowers that cost between $7,000 to $13,000 each went missing, according to Lt. Shawn Bostick of the Colquitt County Sherrif's Office.

Bostick says that investigators have looked at video surveillance of the business, but it has not created any concrete lead.

He says that if anyone who is not a dealer offers to sell someone a new lawnmower, they should contact the sheriff's office.
