BAINBRIDGE, GA (WTXL) - Officers say they found 4 ounces of crack cocaine and some marijuana when they responded to a call at a Bainbridge motel.

According to officers, 27-year-old Jarard Johnson was arrested and charged in connection with the drugs.

Around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Bainbridge Public Safety received a call reporting drug activity at a local motel. Police said they were told by staff that 4 black males staying at the motel were smoking marijuana at the pool.

Bainbridge Public Safety said when officers arrived on scene, the group ran off. After additional officers arrived, police searched the area and saw Johnson through a motel window.
