TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A special group travelling to Tallahassee needs your help.

The Community United Effort organization is in the Capital City, seeking help from the public to solve cold cases involving missing persons. The group feels another look at one of these cases could spark someone's memory and lead to some answers.

It may be hard for many to imagine having a loved one go missing. But perhaps even more difficult is having the search for that loved one be abandoned and the case remain unsolved.

That is why "On the Road to Remember" is a group dedicated to promoting such cases.

Monica Caison founded the Community United Effort to be a liaison between communities and law enforcement.

Since 1994, the organization has helped more than 9,000 families across the country by serving as an advocate for the missing and providing free services for search and recovery. The group knows any new information has the potential to drastically help law enforcement shine light on cases.

Caison says sometimes tips and leads are brought to the surface almost immediately after recognition is brought to a case.

After traveling to Cullman, Ala., a $50,000 reward was offered for Jordan Wilson's case as they actively continue searching for her.

Caison believes the media plays a large role in solving missing person cases and hope that Tuesday's event will inspire the community to bring forth any information.
