TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - For some people, making a difference in the lives of others can begin with a puppy.
The Thomasville Chapter of Canine Companions for Independence said they are looking for volunteers.
The non-profit works to enhance the lives of people with disabilities by providing them with a highly trained canine companion.
The companions have mastered over 40-commands to assist in basic activities.
Volunteers will do everything from providing a safe environment for the puppies, to taking them through upper level obedience classes, to getting them ready for professional training.
