WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — Six additional sexual offenders/predators have been arrested as a follow-up to “Operation Shadow" in Wakulla County.
On Feb. 14, the culmination of “Operation Shadow” was announced after Detectives of the CID with the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office and the United States Marshals Service, Sex Offender Investigations Branch, conducted 90 unannounced address verifications of sexual offenders/sexual predators and arrested eight suspects for violating registration requirements.
At the time, WCSO said that CID Detectives planned to arrest five additional sexual offenders/sexual predators following the operation.
According to WCSO, they actually have arrested six additional suspects (one of them twice) as a follow-up to “Operation Shadow.”
Since the culmination of “Operation Shadow,” CID Detectives have arrested the following people:
• Michael Kidwell – 51 Years of Age; Sexual Predator. Arrested February 26, 2019, and charged with Failure to update Driver's License and Failure to provide address change.
• Silas Thornton – 39 Years of Age; Sexual Predator. Arrested March 4, 2019, and charged with two counts of Failure to report an address change
• Donovan Sauleda – 32 Years of Age; Sexual Offender. Arrested March 7, 2019, and charged with Failure to register Internet Identifiers. [NOTE: Mr. Sauleda was arrested again on March 11, 2019, and charged with a second count of Failure to register Internet Identifiers.]
• Daniel Forest, Sr. – 62 Years of Age; Sexual Offender. Arrested March 8, 2019, and charged with Failure to update Driver’s License.
• Kenneth Ginn – 55 Years of Age; Sexual Offender. Arrested April 25, 2019, and charged with failure to notify change of employment.
• Qunikiya Thomas – 37 Years of Age; Sexual Offender. Arrested April 25, 2019, and charged with failure to register a motor vehicle.
WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Eight registered sexual offenders and sexual predators are behind bars after an ongoing operation concluded on Valentine's Day.
The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office says that "Operation Shadow" was conducted between Feb. 6 and Feb. 13.
During the operation, law enforcement officers made 132 unannounced visits to the residences of the 100 registered sexual offenders and sexual predators in Wakulla County and successfully conducted 90 address verification's.
During “Operation Shadow,” CID Detectives arrested the following registered Sexual Offenders and Sexual Predators for violating registration requirements :
• Lance Givens – 33 Years of Age; Sexual Predator residing at 99 Concord Road, Crawfordville, FL. Arrested February 6, 2019, and charged with two counts of Failure to Provide Internet Account and one count of Failure to Provide Cellular Telephone Number.
• Walter Harrell – 57 Years of Age; Sexual Offender residing at 17 Squaw Road, Crawfordville, FL. Arrested February 6, 2019, and charged with one count of Failure to Provide Internet Account.
• Jimmy Dean Kilgore – 41 Years of Age; Sexual Offender residing at 31 Shuler Street, Eastpoint, FL. Arrested February 6, 2019, and charged with one count of Failure to Provide Internet Identifiers.
• Jan Bryan Hillard – 42 Years of Age; Sexual Offender residing at an unidentified address. Arrested February 6, 2019, and charged with one count of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and Failure to Register Internet Identifiers.
• Shantas Terrell Nixon – 41 Years of Age; Sexual Predator residing at 34 Brown Donaldson Road, Crawfordville, FL. Arrested February 7, 2019, and charged with one count of Failure to Provide Internet Identifier.
• Randall “Jody” Crum – 43 Years of Age; Sexual Offender residing at 76 Tully Avenue, Panacea, FL. Arrested February 7, 2019, and charged with Failure to Provide Internet Identifiers.
• Scott Brown – 54 Years of Age; Sexual Offender residing at 237 N. Summerwind Circle, Crawfordville, FL. Arrested February 7, 2019, and charged with Failure to Provide Internet Identifier.
• Richard Winger – 53 Years of Age; Sexual Predator residing at 12 Mulberry Circle, Crawfordville, FL. Arrested February 8, 2019, and charged with Failure to Report Address Change.
