ORLANDO, Fla. (WTXL) - The trial for the widow of Pulse nightclub shooter began Wednesday.
Omar Mateen opened fire inside the Orlando nightclub in 2016, killing 49-people.
He was killed by police responding to the scene.
Mateen's wife, Noor Salman, is accused of aiding and abetting her husband.
Prosecutors say the 31-year-old admitted to investigators she knew her husband was planning the massacre.
Salman's defense cast her as a victim, not an accomplice.
A family spokeswoman addressed the case Wednesday.
