TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- One person was taken to the hospital in serious condition after they were shot Monday morning, said Tallahassee Police.
Police responded to the 1800 Block of Tyndall Drive around 7 a.m. after someone reported hearing gunshots in the area.
As the patrol officers were canvassing the scene when they found the male gunshot victim. He was given immediate medical treatment and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, said police.
The Violent Crimes and Forensic Unit were called to the scene to investigate the incident. At this time they are still processing evidence and interviewing all known witnesses.
