MITCHELL Co., GA (WTXL) - Deputies say one person was injured in a Mitchell County shooting.
The Mitchell County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened off north Georgia State Road 3 on Tuesday.
Rashawn McGhee was shot while traveling from Albany to Mitchell County and taken to the hospital, according to deputies. They say he is recovering from his wounds.
Deputies are not releasing information on suspects at this time.
