SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - One person has been flown to the hospital after a motorcycle accident in Suwannee County.
Alan Hudson, 56, of Crestview, Fla. suffered serious injuries in the accident.
Florida Highway patrol responded to an accident involving two motorcycles at about 8:40 a.m. Saturday.
According to FHP, both motorcycles were traveling east on State Road 8 in a group of motorcycles.
A witness told FHP, Hudson gave a hand signal and put his turn signal on to get off at the exit.
The driver of the other motorcycle did not see the signal, causing his foot rest to hit Hudson's motorcycle.
FHP states Hudson then loss control of his motorcycle and fell onto the road.
Hudson suffered serious injuries and was taken to UF Health Shands Hospital by helicopter.
FHP says there are no charges being filed for this accident.
