TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating after one person was shot on Lake Avenue Thursday evening.
Police say the shooting happened around 7:28 p.m. near the 1500 block of Lake Avenue.
When officers arrived, they discovered that a person with a gunshot injury had been transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers are asking anyone with information about this case to please call them at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS. This is currently an active investigation, and TPD will provide updates when they are available.
