CAIRO, Ga. (WALB/WTXL) ---The Cairo Police Department is working with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to determine what led up to a deadly shooting.
According to WALB, It happened on Saturday January 18th just after 9:00p.m near the Cairo Gas and Food Mart on Forth Street. Investigators say there was a car show earlier that day an a crowd from that show gathered outside the store. That’s when someone started firing into the crowd.
Four people were shot and those victims have been identified. 24 year- old Stanley Hill of Cairo was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kentrall Brown, 24 as well as his brother, Shontarious Brown were both taken to Grady General Hospital for treatment. The fourth victim, 20 year-old Martarvione Moore was airlifted to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says there are no suspects at this time but they are actively investigating a motive alongside Cairo Police.
