GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL)--One person is dead after a fiery crash in Gadsden County.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say the accident happened on U.S. 27 just north of McNair Road around eight Saturday morning.
They say a big rig was headed north on U.S. 27 when the driver ran off the road, slamming into four metal fence posts and a tree.
The truck then caught fire. The driver died at the scene. The person's identity hasn't been released.
Troopers are investigating the crash.
