MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - One man is dead after a crash in Madison County Saturday.

It happened at about 9:00 a.m. on I-10 EB at mile marker 266, just past the rest stop area.

Troopers say 23-year-old Jacorion Demar Chambers of Prichard, Alabama was traveling eastbound on I-10 in the inside lane when he ran off of the roadway into the center median.

Troopers say he then overcorrected to the right, re-entering the inside eastbound lane, then overcorrected to the left and started to rotate counterclockwise.

They say Chambers then went off of the roadway and into a tree in the center median. He died in the crash.

His passenger, 25-year-old Jerelon Chambers of Mobile, Alabama was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
