MADISON COUNTY, FL. (WTXL)-- One Woman is dead after an accident on Washington Street in Madison County Friday.
According to FHP, Bobbie Jean D Light was traveling south on the street when he drifted into the wrong lane and collided with Chad Edward Shipley's Ford. Reports state that Shipley had tried to avoid the collision but was still hit by Light on the left side of her truck as well as the flat bed.
Shipley received minor injuries during the accident, and did not need hospitalizations. FHP reports that Light died on scene.
It is unknown why Light had drifted into the wrong lane.
