One Dead after Car Drives Through a House in Quincy

QUINCY, Fla. (WTXL) - Gadsden County deputies said that one person is dead after a car crashed into a Quincy home Friday afternoon. 

The Florida Highway Patrol reported that a person has been killed in an accident on South Adams Street near West 4th Street in Quincy Friday afternoon.

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office said that the driver, who was apparently driving a truck, was going northbound on Adams Street when they lost control of their car, went into a yard, and drove into a house on Davis and Adams Street.

They said that the car ended up going through an unoccupied bedroom in the house. 

Nobody was hurt in the house, but the passenger in the car was pronounced dead on scene.

Deputies said that the driver was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in unknown condition.
