MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A person is in custody after leading deputies on a high-speed chase through Lowndes and Madison counties Thursday afternoon.
To prevent the high speed chase from reaching a more populated area, Madison County deputies responded to the Pinetta area on Colin Kelly Highway.
Deputies were able to immobilize the stolen truck at the intersection of Colin Kelly and Poppy.
The lone offender was taken into custody without further incident.
Deputies say there is no active threat in the area.
