TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - The FSU Presidential Search Advisory Committee has been holding open forums throughout the week for the campus to interview each candidate. However, that timeline may be delayed as a result of one candidate not being able to show up to his own meetings.
The search committee announced Wednesday that Dr. Michael V. Martin, Chancellor of the Colorado State University System, would miss his open forums scheduled for that day.
FSU says that Martin was unable to attend due to emergency surgery for a detached retina.
According to the presidential search's website, Martin's meetings will now be held on Thursday, September 18th.
Candidate feedback will now be due Saturday, September 20th. It was originally due on Friday.
